Guy Arlette was appointed President, Operations of Technip and to the Group’s Executive Committee on May 1st, 2007.
He replaces Daniel Burlin, who has retired.
A graduate of Paris’ Ecole des Mines, Guy Arlette worked for the French Ministry of Industry where he was head of the Oil and Gas Directorate, as well as for several major firms in the energy sector before joining Technip.
During his fifteen years at Technip, he has held various positions managing projects and subsidiaries and was Vice President, Project Control and Estimating and Vice President, Internal Audit. Since 2003 he had been COO for the Middle East and South West Asia.
With a workforce of 22,000 people, Technip ranks among the top five corporations in the field of oil, gas and petrochemical engineering, construction and services. Headquartered in Paris, the Group is listed in New York and Paris.
