Technip announces the acquisition of EPG (BV Ingenieursbureau EPG), a specialized engineering company with strong positions notably in the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors. Based in the Netherlands, EPG employs 120 people.
EPG is specialized in plant modifications (modernization, capacity extension). With 35 years of experience earned working with local and global clients and an in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market, EPG will reinforce the Group's presence in Benelux. Combined with Technip's recognized expertise in project management and technologies, this acquisition will broaden the range of services offered to the clients of Technip and EPG, which will be renamed Technip-EPG BV.
Technip has been active in Benelux for more than 40 years with three offices specialized in the Onshore segment in the Netherlands and Belgium. When the acquisition becomes effective, Technip's total staff in the Benelux region will exceed 500 people.
